We have a small treat for enthusiasts of H2020 SME Instrument statistics: data from the latest Phase 1 cut-off in May 2017.
Total number of proposals submitted: 2 165
No surprises here, the number of proposals is usually around 2k. This time there were 54 proposals more than in the February 2017 round.
179 proposals are expected to be funded
The budget for this Phase 1 of the SME Instrument is higher and will allow more projects to be sponsored than the last 12-month average of 175.
Last but not least – expected success rate is estimated at 8%
Due to the increased number of submitted proposals, the expected success rate is slightly lower than the last 12-month average of 8.75%. But don’t lose hope – the European Commission can decide to fund more projects.
