SHELLBRANE

The aim of this project was to develop a method to separate egg shells from membranes and disinfect the membrance in an easy, affordable and environmentally friendly way. The SHELLBRANE consortium developed a prototype that is able to process 60 kg/h of eggshell waste, producing both membrane and mineral shell with a high degree of quality.
